Health Care Policy:
Our Health policy promotes preventative health care. This policy, with staff and parent cooperation, can minimize the spread of illness among our campers.
In the event that your child is given medication at home that he/she is not required to be given at camp, it is helpful for the counselor’s to know. Often children may have reactions to medication, which may alter their behavior and routine. Prior to the start of camp, parents must provide a medical form with the campers immunizations and all exams must be up to date.
Parents are responsible for informing the camp director - Greg Lyons, in writing, of any allergies that their child might have. Lunch occurs at noon everyday so please inform Greg Lyons of any food allergies. Lunch will be provided to any camper who does not have one. Water will also be available to any camper who needs it at any point in time.
Please keep the director, Greg Lyons, informed of any changes in your child’s medical condition.
Please provide your camper with proper sun protection prior to arriving to camp. In the event that your child becomes ill or is injured during camp hours, you (the parent/guardian) will be contacted immediately by the trainer and a decision on how to move forward, will be made from there.
The camper will be removed from direct sunlight and provided with liquids as well as being accompanied by a coach/counselor at all times.
In the event of an injury that occurs during camp hours, Bulldog Baseball Camp will be covered with medical insurance as well as a Health Care Consultant available for consultation during camp hours.

Discipline Policy
Bulldog Baseball Camp reserves the right to discipline campers, if deemed necessary.
We have a 3 strike policy.
Strike 1 - the camper will be asked to sit out for 10 minutes and the issue will be discussed between the Camp Director and the camper.
Strike 2 - The camper will be asked to sit out for 20 minutes, the issue will be discussed with the Camp Director, also the campers parent will be notified of the issue.
Strike 3 - The campers parent will be contacted right away and the camper may or may not be asked to leave for the day or sit out of participating in the camp for a substantial amount of time.
We hope that no strikes occur during the week and coaches/counselors will do their best to avoid disciplining campers, however they do reserve the right to do so if they feel it is(totally) necessary.

Camper Release Policy:
Upon the completion of camp for the day, camper's will remain with the coaches/counselors until a parent or guardian arrives and releases them. If a camper wishes to walk (or ride their bike) home, they must have a note from  a parent or guardian. The camper's parent or guardian is asked to check the camper in at the start of the day as well.

Missing Camper Plan:
In the case that a camper is discovered to have gone missing, the staff member will immediately report this to Greg Lyons, who with the help of another staff member will attempt to locate the missing camper. If the camper is not located immediately then the Canton Police Department as well as the camper's parent or guardian will be informed.

Fire/Emergency Evacuation Plan:
In the case of a fire or emergency situation in or around the camp grounds, Camp Director will lead the campers to the nearest point of safety. The Camp Director, Trainer, or a Camp Counselor will then contact the camper's parent or guardian immediately. Bulldog Baseball Camp will maintain a copy of all campers emergency contacts at all times.

Drugs/Alcohol/Tobacco Policy:
Absolutely no (non prescription) drugs of any kind, alcohol, or tobacco products are allowed on camp grounds at any time.

Staff Requirements:
All staff members will have had a CORI and SORI check as well as 3 references checked prior to the start of camp. All staff will be required to attend an orientation the day before the first day of camp.
